Tracking Calories
Whatever your goal is ( fat loss, muscle gain 💪🏻) I’ve said it a million times, nutrition is the no1 priority. 👌🏻
So with this in mind, one of the 1st things we do here at T12 is
teach you how to track your calories correctly 👨‍🎓👩‍💻
This is so important in reaching your personal targets.
Before we can even talk about getting your macronutrients balanced, we need to assess how many calories your actually consuming in a day 🍳🥑🥦😳
So look at the above examples and see how it can go horribly wrong when your just guessing amounts. 🤦‍♂️
Take the peanut butter on toast, it’s basically doubled in calories with the guesstimate approach 😳
You need to know what 30/40 grams of peanut butter looks like.
It goes back to the old “ I’m eating really healthy and still not losing any weight 🤷‍♂️” 😡
That’s probably because you are consuming too much of it ( surplus calories)
